10 May. Cement sheet down in bathroom - but thicker sheet. Stud wall. Tait's timber.

Onsite Mick, John Sacco, Alf  0700-1500. Cement sheet glued and tacked in bathroom.
Small problem, the cement sheet is too thin, tear it up and put down thicker, and glue it, not just tack it.

Talked to plumber Chris about hole for bath drain. He says entire bath surround sealed, so go ahead and waterproof. No 'puddle trap' needed.

Talked to Regency Jon about black strip on bottom only of window, 20 mm. He will investigate, price and fix. Timber from top can just be painted black at the back to match black silicon seal which will be on glass. We don't want to see any of that black paint from inside, only outside.

Mehmet came at 1130 from MOS for quote on waterproofing.

Tear it up Mick, and start again.

You two sit there while I vacuum.
"Yes Dad."

"Dad, we're hungry. When's breakfast?"
Soon kiddies. We'll go for a walk soon.

Stud wall going up in kitchen

Cement sheet finished, and poor Mick hit his thumb bad.

Went to Tait's to look at timber. Good price on the Blackbutt 85 of $71 per sqm.
